ICAI Reschedules CA Intermediate Paper 5 (Auditing & Ethics): Check New Date Here
Two days back, the ICAI postponed the examination due to some unavoidable circumstances.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has rescheduled the postponed Chartered Accountants Intermediate Examination (Group II) Paper-5- Auditing and Ethics across India and abroad.
As per ICAI’s Announcement dated 19 January 2026, the exam which was earlier scheduled to be held on 19 January 2026 (Monday) will now be conducted on 31 January 2026 (Saturday).
The institute has clarified that the rescheduled examination will be held at the same examination centre and at the same timings, i.e., 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (IST).
It further stated that admit cards already issued will remain valid for the rescheduled date, and candidates do not need to download a fresh admit card.
Meanwhile, ICAI confirmed that the remaining papers of the CA Foundation January 2026 Examination will be conducted as scheduled on 16th, 20th, 22nd and 24th January 2026.
The institute has advised the candidates to stay updated.
