As per the official release from ICMAI, SEBI has already constituted a Knowledge/Content Committee to oversee the NISM Certification process; ICMAI is represented on this Committee by three of its members, including a Central Council member.

The primary purpose of this task force is to develop the framework, curriculum, and evaluation criteria for the NISM certification course designed specifically for internal and compliance auditors working with SEBI-registered intermediaries.

ICMAI has stated that the contribution of its members is essential for the comprehensive development of this certification, and thus extends the invitation towards CMAs who possess experience or exposure to internal audits of SEBI-registered intermediaries. Those interested in being considered for nomination by ICMAI to the SEBI Task Force are required to submit their Expression of Interest by filling out a Google form provided for this purpose.
