TheInstitute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has inaugurated its fourth Centre for Corporate Governance, Research and Training (CCGRT) at IMT Manesar, Haryana, marking a significant expansion of its national research and training infrastructure.

The new centre reflects the Institute’s focus on strengthening governance capacity, enhancing professional development, and meeting the rising global demand for high‑quality corporate governance expertise.

Positioned as a state‑of‑the‑art facility, CCGRT Manesar has been designed to serve as a hub for advanced research, training, consultancy, and incubation.

With a proposed built‑up area of 31,049 sq. ft., the centre houses modern classrooms, a dedicated library, multipurpose rooms, an IT lab, hostel accommodation, dining facilities, and recreational spaces across a Basement + Ground + 4‑floor structure.

The facility is intended to support a wide spectrum of stakeholders, including students, members, regulators, and industry participants.

The Institute emphasised that CCGRTs across India would foster trust, transparency, and accountability in corporate functioning. As a statutory professional body under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, ICSI has consistently positioned itself as a leader in governance education and capacity building.

The new CCGRT centre shall offer structured research programs, specialised training modules, and governance‑focused initiatives tailored to the evolving needs of India Inc.

Speaking at the inauguration, ICSI President CS Dhananjay Shukla highlighted the Institute’s forward‑looking approach, noting that the CCGRT framework is designed to build holistic governance processes and integrate them seamlessly into corporate functioning.
