As the financial year 2024-25 moves into its final quarter, November 2025 brings a busy schedule of tax compliance deadlines for individuals, businesses, and professionals.

This month is particularly important due to the recent extensions announced by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) through Circular No. 15/2025, dated 29 October 2025, which provides additional time for filing income tax returns and audit reports for certain categories of taxpayers.

7 November 2025

Why the November Calendar Matters

The month of November plays a crucial role in the tax compliance ecosystem for several reasons:

  1. It is the penultimate month of the calendar year when many key quarterly and annual filings converge.
  2. It includes statutory TDS and TCS deadlines, audit report submissions, and return filing dates for both domestic and international taxpayers.
  3. For corporates and large firms, this period often overlaps with finalisation of audit adjustments, transfer pricing reports, and year-end reconciliations, making compliance planning essential.
