Investigations revealed a three-page suicide note left by Raj, which allegedly held two individuals, Rahul Parwani and Saba Qureshi, responsible for his death. In the note, Raj disclosed that the accused forced him to steal money from his company accounts and drain his personal savings under threats to circulate the private video.
According to the police, Rahul Parwani and Saba Qureshi exploited Raj’s substantial investments in the stock market and his high-paying job to extort over Rs 3 crore over 18 months. They allegedly coerced him into transferring company funds to their personal accounts and forcibly took possession of his luxury car.
The suicide note poignantly read: “I, Raj More, committing suicide today. Rahul Parwani and Saba Qureshi are responsible for my death. They manipulated and blackmailed me for months... Final goodbye.” The CA also expressed apologies to his family, urging loved ones to take care of his mother and manage his financial policies.
Family members informed police that Raj had been under severe mental stress in recent months. Authorities have registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), charging the accused with extortion and abetment to suicide.
