The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has transferred ninety-nine officials with immediate effect.
As per an office order released today, the Board said that “with the approval of Competent Authority, the following transfer and posting in the grade of Principal Commissioner/ Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes, is hereby ordered with immediate effect and until further orders.”
The Board has stated that the officers mentioned above shall be relieved immediately latest by 05.08.2022 and must join at their new place of posting on or before 18.08.2022. Further, no representation whatsoever shall be entertained before they join their new place of posting.
“The Pr. Chief Commissioners/Pr. Directors General/ Chief Commissioners/ Directors General concerned shall send the compliance report regarding relieving and joining of the above officers to the Board with a copy endorsed to ADG (HRM-11), DGHRD by 29.08.2022 (through email),” the order said.
The order further stated that “all the representations received till date regarding transfer and posting in the grades of Principal Commissioner/ Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes stand disposed of.”
