To promote awareness and understanding of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), 2016 among various stakeholders across the country, the Insolvency, and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) has launched an online Quiz in collaboration with MyGov.in.
The Quiz is open from 1 July 2020 to 31 July 2020. It is open to Indian citizens aged 18 years and above. It will have 20 questions, each carrying one mark. One will get 10 minutes to complete the Quiz. Top 10% of participants shall get a “Certificate of Merit”. The Quiz is available both in English and Hindi.
The best performer will be awarded a Gold Medal along with a cash prize of Rs.1,00,000. The second-best performer will be awarded a Silver Medal along with a cash prize of Rs.50,000. The third best performer will be awarded a Bronze Medal along with a cash prize of Rs.25,000.
The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India a key pillar for the implementation of the IBC. It is responsible for the development and regulation of insolvency professionals and other service providers. It regulates various processes, namely, corporate insolvency resolution, corporate liquidation, a fresh start, individual insolvency resolution, and individual bankruptcy. It acts as the ‘Authority’ for regulation and development of the profession of valuers.
