ICAI ISA Assessment Test January 2025 Merit List Out! 4 Candidates Ace Exam
The Results of the January 2025 iteration of the ICAI Information Systems Audit Assessment Test were declared on 4th March, 2025
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially published the merit list of the Information Systems Audit (ISA) Assessment Test that was held India-wide on January 25, 2025.
The ISA Assessment Test is a specialised test designed for Chartered Accountants pursuing the ISA Course 3.0 syllabus. The test evaluates candidates' proficiency in auditing information systems which is an important sector within the realms of data governance, cybersecurity and the digitisation of financial practices.
The ICAI has published the merit list of the highest scoring candidates of the exam, with 4 candidates coming out on top above the rest of the candidates.
The merit list is topped by Sayali Sanjay Rane from Pune who aced with 177 marks, followed by Sai Kumar K from Tirupati with 171 marks.

The third rank is held jointly by Sahil Jain from Harda and Vijay Sangtani from Ujjain, both of whom scored 169 marks.
With the ISA qualification, Chartered Accountants are able to expand their capabilities to provide audit and assurance services that include Information Technology (IT) system controls, data integrity checks and cybersecurity risk assessments.
The results of the January 2025 iteration of the ICAI ISA Assessment Test was released earlier this year at icai.nic.in.
The examination was conducted across 48 cities throughout the country with prominent centers including Delhi/New Delhi, serving as a central hub for North India along with several cities in Maharashtra such as Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Thane and Aurangabad.
Uttar Pradesh had the most extensive coverage with nine centers, including Allahabad, Lucknow and Noida. Karnataka featured Bengaluru and Hubli as key locations, while Tamil Nadu hosted the test in Chennai and Coimbatore.
Other important cities such as Guwahati, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Ernakulam also had examination centers.
