ICMAI Releases Admit Card for December 2025 Exams: Foundation, Intermediate and Final

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has officially released the admit cards for the December 2025 Term Examination for the Foundation, Intermediate, and Final courses.

Foundation

The Foundationexamination, scheduled to be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025. will be conducted in Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Mode through OMR-based methods in offline centres.

The Foundation Course Examination shall follow the Syllabus 2022 and consists of four papers, each carrying 100 marks.

Paper 1: Fundamentals of Business Laws and Business Communication

Paper 2: Fundamentals of Financial and Cost Accounting

Paper 3: Fundamentals of Business Mathematics and Statistics

Paper 4: Fundamentals of Business Economics and Management

The morning session (10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon IST) will cover Papers 1 and 2, while the afternoon session (2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. IST) will cover Papers 3 and 4. Each paper includes 50 multiple-choice questions, with no negative marking.

The results for the Foundation Examination will be announced on January 8, 2026.

Intermediate Course Examination (Syllabus 2022)

The Intermediate Examination under Syllabus 2022 will be conducted in offline descriptive mode from Wednesday, December 10, 2025, to Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

The examinations will be conducted in the afternoon session from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (IST) across centres in India and the Middle East.

The examination will consist of two groups, each comprising four papers of 100 marks as per the schedule given below:

  • December 10, 2025 (Wednesday): Business Laws and Ethics (Paper 5)
  • December 11, 2025 (Thursday): Operations Management and Strategic Management (Paper 9)
  • December 12, 2025 (Friday): Financial Accounting (Paper 6)
  • December 13, 2025 (Saturday): Corporate Accounting and Auditing (Paper 10)
  • December 14, 2025 (Sunday): Direct and Indirect Taxation (Paper 7)
  • December 15, 2025 (Monday): Financial Management and Business Data Analytics (Paper 11)
  • December 16, 2025 (Tuesday): Cost Accounting (Paper 8)
  • December 17, 2025 (Wednesday): Management Accounting (Paper 12)

The results of the Intermediate Examination will be announced on February 11, 2026.

Final Course Examination (Syllabus 2022)

The Final Examination under Syllabus 2022 will also be conducted in offline descriptive mode from Wednesday, December 10, 2025, to Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in the morning session from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (IST) at centres across India and overseas centres.

The Final Examination comprises two groups, each containing four papers of 100 marks as per the official schedule below:

  • December 10, 2025 (Wednesday): Corporate and Economic Laws (Paper 13)
  • December 11, 2025 (Thursday): Cost and Management Audit (Paper 17)
  • December 12, 2025 (Friday): Strategic Financial Management (Paper 14)
  • December 13, 2025 (Saturday): Corporate Financial Reporting (Paper 18)
  • December 14, 2025 (Sunday): Direct Tax Laws and International Taxation (Paper 15)
  • December 15, 2025 (Monday): Indirect Tax Laws and Practice (Paper 19)
  • December 16, 2025 (Tuesday): Strategic Cost Management (Paper 16)
  • December 17, 2025 (Wednesday): Elective Papers:

(i) Strategic Performance Management and Business Valuation (Paper 20A)

(ii) Risk Management in Banking and Insurance (Paper 20B)

(iii) Entrepreneurship and Start-up (Paper 20C)

The results of the Final Examination will also be published on February 11, 2026, along with the Intermediate results.

Both the Intermediate and Final Examinations are to be conducted in a centre-based offline format across the notified Indian and overseas centres.

Candidates are advised to carefully read the instructions provided along with the admit card and ensure they reach their examination centre on time with valid ID proof.
