ITAT Delhi Announces Dedicated Email ID for All Judicial Filings; to be Effective Immediately
The Revenue Department and Authorized Representatives were using general IDs for various submissions like adjournment applications, consolidation applications and also early hearing applications. Older addresses will no longer be entertained for judicial matters.

The Delhi Benches of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) issued a formal circular streamlining its digital communication process. In a move to enhance administrative efficiency, a dedicated email address has been established specifically for judicial functions.
According to the circular dated December 16, 2025, signed by Assistant Registrar Manoj Kashyap, all documents related to judicial functions must now be sent to a single, specialized email ID.
Previously, the Revenue Department and Authorized Representatives (ARs) were using general IDs such as delhi.bench@itat.nic.in and delhi.zone@itat.nic.in for various submissions like adjournment applications, consolidation applications and early hearing applications. These older addresses will no longer be entertained for judicial matters.

- Adjournment applications
- Consolidation applications
- Early hearing applications
- Any other documents pertaining to the functions of the Judicial Section.
The circular clarified that the documents as stated above and other documents should be sent to the newly specified email id only and not the older email addresses.
The Tribunal has issued a clear warning regarding the transition. It stated that Documents related to the judicial functions sent to the old email addresses will not be processed nor entertained. It also warned that the sender or the representatives will bear sole responsibility for any resulting delays or legal consequences.
The circular also highlighted that all emails received by 17:30 hrs on any working day will be printed, diarized, and submitted for official acknowledgement by the Assistant Registrar (Judicial).
