NIRC of ICMAI Elects CMA Rakesh Yadav as Chairman, Announces Full Leadership Team for 2025-26
CMA Rakesh Yadav has been elected Chairman of NIRC of ICMAI for 2025 to 2026, with a new team set to lead cost accountants in Northern India.

The Northern India Regional Council of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India has chosen its new leaders for the year 2025 to 2026. The results were announced after the Regional Council meeting on August 8, 2025.
CMA Rakesh Yadav is the new Chairman of the Northern India Regional Council. He is a senior member of the Institute and is well known for his work for cost accountants. As Chairman, he will lead the council and help improve the role of cost accountants in business and public services.

Other members were also elected to important positions. CMA Manish Kandpal is the new Vice Chairman. CMA Honey Singh will be the Secretary, in charge of records and official letters. CMA Madhuri Kashyap will be the Treasurer, responsible for handling the council’s money.
Three more members were chosen for the council. They are CMA Santosh Pant, CMA Satya Narayan Mittal, and CMA Jeewan Chandra. This team will work together to support cost accountants and students in Northern India.
The Northern India Regional Council serves about six hundred thousand students and seventy-five thousand members across India. It provides training, helps improve business cost efficiency, and promotes high ethical standards for the profession.
About ICMAI and NIRC
The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, also known as ICMAI, is the national body for cost and management accountants in the country. It was set up under an Act of Parliament and works under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. It trains professionals in cost management, accounting, and financial control.
The Northern India Regional Council (NIRC) is one of ICMAI’s four regional councils. NIRC looks after the needs of members and students in the northern region of India, offering education programs, professional guidance, and networking opportunities.
