Registration Begins: PCS Firms Invited to Join IAGES Panel for PAN‑India Gold Accreditation Assessments
PCS firms gain new professional opportunities in the gold sector.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), in collaboration with the Indian Association for Gold Excellence and Standards (IAGES), has officially opened registrations for PCS firms to join as empanelled assessment agencies.
It was launched under a Memorandum of Understanding signed on January 15, 2026, which paves the way for PCS firms to play a pivotal role in conducting PAN‑India accreditation assessments across the gold industry value chain.
On 23-02-2026, ICSI posted the notification on platform X ( Formerly Twitter) that the empanelment procedure for PCS firms with IAGES. With no empanelment fee at present and structured training support from IAGES, eligible firms now have a unique opportunity to expand their professional footprint into a sector of national significance.

This opens up a PAN-India opportunity for PCS firms to participate in gold industry assessments, expanding professional scope, and its main purpose will be to allow PCS firms to act as Assessment Agencies for evaluating value chain partners in the gold industry who seek accreditation with IAGES.
Step-by-step registration process
- Step 1 - fill out the Google form -Registration link provided: forms.gle/zgZi2HBCWNtxVjnRA
- Step 2 - eligible PCS firms’ details are shared with IAGES for empanelment. At present, there is no fee for empanelment with IAGES.
- Step 3 -Training by IAGES- Empanelled firms receive training (webinar/physical) on conducting assessments.
- Step 4 - They will provide the training material
Eligibility Criteria for PCS Firms
- The agency should have a minimum average annual financial turnover of ₹1 crore in the last 3 consecutive financial years.
- Firms must have a minimum of 2 partners
- The firm has been in existence for a period of at least 5 years.
