Revised Form INC-22A Notified: MCA Notifies Companies (Incorporation) Amendment Rules, 2025 [Read Notification]

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs ( MCA ) has officially notified the Companies (Incorporation) Amendment Rules, 2025.

As per the Gazette notification dated June 27, 2025, the amended rules will come into effect from July 14, 2025. One of the key part is the substitution of the existing Form INC-22A with a revised e-form titled ACTIVE (Active Company Tagging Identities and Verification).

The form mandates disclosures including detailed information on directors, statutory and cost auditors, KMPs, registered office verification, and compliance status with previous filings such as AOC-4 and MGT-7.

The format also requires photographic evidence of the registered office along with geolocation coordinates, and digital signatures from directors and practicing professionals.
