The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) has opened the Correction Window for CA Foundation Exams in June 2021. The Correction window opened from May 8th to 10th May 2021 midnight.
The Last Date for Online Submission of form without late fee was May 4th, 2021 and the Last Date for Online Submission of form with late fee was May 7th, 2021.
The timings for the paper 1 and 2 of the foundation exam will be from 2 pm to 5 pm for the duration of 3 hours and the paper 3 and 4 will be from 2 pm to 4 pm for the duration of 2 Hours.
It is noteworthy that in Paper 3 and 4 of the Foundation Examination there will not be any advance reading time, whereas, in all other papers/exams mentioned above, an advance reading time of 15 minutes will be given from 1:45 PM (1ST) to 2 PM (1ST).
The foundation exam fee for the Indian Centre, for overseas centres excluding Kathmandu Centre and for Kathmandu (Nepal) will be Rs.1500, UDS 325 and Rs.2200 respectively.
Recently, the Institute had sent an email regarding the relaxation in the exam norm while the country is affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and lockdown and other restrictions are currently implemented in various parts of the country consequently.
The Institute said that the Exam form does not require the office seal of the CA at this pandemic. “The only signature in Exam Form is sufficient along with his Membership Number,” the Institute wrote in the email.
