In a report released by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ), 730 Chartered Accountants has bagged more than nine lakh salary package for CA fresher in ICAI Campus Placements programs.
In order to connect and bring together the Newly Qualified Chartered Accountants (NQCAs) and the recruiters on a common platform, the scheme of the campus interviews was introduced by the Committee for Members in Industry & Business (CMI&B) of ICAI to provide prospective employers and the young members an opportunity to interact and explore the possibility of taking up employment in various organizations.
The 49th edition of Campus Placement Programme held from Feb- March,19 at seventeen (9 bigger and 8 smaller) centers viz. Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Durgapur, Ernakulam, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Pune, and Thane.
Out of 9011 students registered, 6646 CA freshers have participated in the events. 3815 Number of Jobs was offered and 3180 jobs accepted by the candidates.
22.50 Lac Salary Package was offered for a CA Fresher for domestic posting and 36.00 Lac offered for International Posting.
More than 1700 students were offered a 7,50,000 to 9,00,000 lakh salary package and more than 140 students bagged 4.5lakh to 6 lakh per annum packages.
