Finance Ministry notifies Foreign Currency Conversion Rates for Import and Export of Goods - TAXSCAN

With effect from today (07-07-2023), the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has announced the revised rates of exchange for conversion of foreign currencies for import and export of commodities.

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs determined that the rate of exchange of conversion of each of the foreign currencies specified in column (2) of each of Schedule I and Schedule II annexed hereto shall be the rate determined by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs in accordance with the powers granted by section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962.
