The court found no convincing reason to keep the petitioner in custody pending trial, noting that he had been detained for about four months and that the investigation phase was finished.

The tribunal held that since the service recipient GSPHCL, an organ of the government, was eligible for the exemption, the appellant sub-contractor was also exempt from tax on these services.

The amendment aligns the definition of ‘valuer’ under SEBI’s regulation to reflect that provided in the Companies Act, 2013.
