DGFT notifies amendment of Export Policy Condition of De-oiled Rice Bran from ‘Free’ to ‘Prohibited’ up to 30th November 2023 [Read Notification]

On 28th July 2023, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) issued notification number 21/2023, announcing an amendment to the export policy conditions of De-oiled Rice bran. The previous condition of ‘Free’ has been modified to ‘Prohibited’ until 30th November 2023.

In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para I .02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20, the Central Government hereby makes following amendment in Chapter 23 of the Schedule -2 of ITC HS export policy related to export policy of De-Oiled Rice Bran:

The effect of the notification is that the Export policy of De-Oiled Rice Bran is amended from ‘Free’ to ‘Prohibited’ with Immediate effect up to 30.11.2023.
