Karnataka has become one of the top-performing states in India when it comes to economic growth. According to Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara, the state now ranks second in the entire country for attracting investments and collecting Goods and Services Tax (GST).

According to ANI News report, He shared this important update while speaking to the media during a press meeting in Mandya. Dr. Parameshwara said this ranking shows how Karnataka is growing and doing well financially.

“Karnataka is now ranked second in the country for both investment and GST collection. This shows that our state is becoming stronger and more developed,” he said.

In March 2025, Karnataka also reported a 4% growth in overall economic activity, further proving that the state’s economy is on the rise.
